I have a dumb question and I'm too lazy to read through all the pages. Why does the owner have to pay two stud fees? She ultrasounded multiple times and obviously didn't want to risk her mare with twins so you would think the stud owners would just say oh well luck of the draw right? I just thought that was interesting :

I do wish some of the other stallion owners on here would weigh in on this and what they would have done in this situation, as I wondered the same thing.

I can see where you could argue it from either side, because now the mare owner has 2 healthy foals, each worth the full value of a FWOTR offspring.

But from the mare owner's side...... It's like you said.
