| I have a daughter of Smart Little Pistol ( Smart little Lena x Miss silver Pistol ) and Dual pep on the Dams side . I am breeding her this year she is 14.2hh and really stout . (She is a maiden mare )
Pedigree : http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/dont+pistol+me+off
Looking for opinions . Should I lean to breeding her to sons of Frenchmans Guy , Dash Ta Fame , A streak of fling ? Etc . I have 2 stallions in mind , one a son of FG AND DTF on the dams side . And another son of ASTOF and sunfrost on dams side . Unsure what direction I should go in general .
Will try and attach a picture of my mare below .

Location: Alabama | I bred my cowbred mare to Laico Ladiesman this year.
He is big and correct, foals are FF eligible, he has proven siblings, proven dam, proven sire, and he has already produced money earners. Plus he was in my price range and the owner is super to work with! I can't wait for my foal to be here next year! |

| I would go ASOF or DTF. I have a cowbred Dual Pep gdaughter on the top and she had a DTF grandson this year that's really nice. It depends on your mare but mine personally I wouldn't cross on FG son for what needs improving on her unless I was breeding more for rope horse prospect etc. I am a huge FG fan too have had several own daughters/sons and grand get. |

| I would stay away from frenchmans guy breeding just because of the height factor.
If this is a direct daughter of smart little pistol I wouldn't waste a breeding on a not proven stud.
I would save my money and try to get dash ta fame
Second choice streak of fling
For studs in Alberta
Lds unleashed
Blue is Rare
99 gold mine
If you don't care about small
Frenchs Hula Guy
If you are wanting to take a gamble and go to a more unproven stud
Streak of sting x streak of fling out of a 99 mare

| We considered buying Guys Keepin The Fame a couple years back. I had some really cool videos of him from the seller. He is nice, I wouldn't hesitate to breed a cowbred mare to him. He's a full brother to Guys Famous Girl who I believe is the 2nd highest money earner by FG.

where are you in canada?
I was booked into him but do to some unfortnate events i decided to let the breeding go. I was really looking forwatd to that cross. But maybe good for you! As i think his book was closed for the season.
He is frozen semen so it is more cost than cooled or on site.
I am quite eager to see how he produces! I like him lots. |

Location: Texas | Here are my thoughts go with a proven producer Famous Bugs, Firewater Frost, Firewater Ta Fame, Firewaterontherocks, and I'm still thinking. I would not go to Dash Ta Fame himself his sons colts are amazing.
If you can't afford proven then go with proven pedigree maternal line proven producer/paternal producer proven producer and proven themselves.
I trained Roy so I'm bias
Royal and Famous is a 1D stallion. Ran the fastest time of the OKC Derby Finals 2014. Kelly's Chick 2014 NFR qualifiers and Stoli My Guy whom needs no introduction are both breeding to Royal and Famous in 2015. He is a consistent 1D horse. His dam Go Royal Scarlett LTE $300,000+3 time NFR qualifier has produced the horse that won the semi-finals qualifier at Mesquite and set the new arena record at OKC Derby with a 14.8. Royal Star Commander ridden by Erin Ricotti. His full sister was on the cover of Barrel Horse News last year as well Famous Scarlett. His sire is Dash Ta Fame. He would be a clear choice for your breeding program! Top 40 at the 2014 qualifier in Glen Rose outrunning the likes of The Red Dasher and JL Dash Ta Heaven.
This is two videos, the second was the fastest time of the derby finals agains some SUPER tough horses.
