What is with advertising a horse being sold as no fault of their own. In my area it seems to be the trend to put it in an ad and for me not sure why but a turn off.
Silly topic I guess but I am somewhat in the market and I was like what is with that.

I can see some owners putting it in the sale ad because the horse might be a good horse but they don't have time to ride it anymore or they're just not into riding horses anymore.

I dont see it as a turn off. A lot good horses get put up for sale for various reason. Sometimes kids go off to college, people lose their jobs, or just get in a bind with money and have to sell something. A friend of mine recently put her 1D/2D mare up for sale because she suddenly decided she wants to train colts. Perfectly good horse on the market.

Because even breeders always get asked why they are selling a horse.

I get putting in the ad why you are selling its the use of "no fault of their own". Three ads in a row then several like every other. If you are selling your finished horse because you want to ride colts instead of course it isn't the fault of the horse you are selling. Oh well maybe I finally found my pet peeve with an ad. I dont usually have them.lol

I don't understand why they don't just go ahead and blame it on Bush and get it over with.
