| Has anyone ever had nuclear scintigraphy done on their horse? What was the cost? What were you looking for in the scan? |

I've done it 2 times. It was $1400. First was for a suspensory issues, which confirmed them. 2nd was for a knee, which didn't show much. |

| We had ours done at Purdue University as well, and I believe our total bill said and done was right around $1,600. She stayed at the hospital two nights :) |

That was about ours too! Did you do whole body or 1/2? Did you also find out what the problem was? |

That sucks, but probably healed up good. We had front suspensory strain that never healed and could not be found on Ultrasound either. Our luck I guess. He was such a nice horse. Nuc Med did show the strain though. |

| I did a half last summer. I think it was around $900 or so- that included the scan, ultrasound- can't remember if we x-rayed and SI injections- plus a night or two overnight.......unfortunately the horse is still not sound. This was also at teaching hospital. |
