Psalm 105:25-45 he sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen. They performed His signs among them, and wonder in the land of Ham. He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they did not rebel against His word. He tuned their waters into blood,a nd killed their fish. Their land abounded with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings. He spoke, and there came a swarm of flies, and lice in all their territory. He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land. He steuck their vines also, and their fig trees, and splintered their trees of their territory. He spoke and Locusts came, and ate up all the vegetation, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
He also destroyed all the firstborn in their land, the first of all their strength. He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was non feeble e not His tribes.
61 the people asked, and He brought quail, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it ran in the dry places like a river. For He remembered His holy promise, and Abraham His servant. He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with fondness. He gave them in the lands of the Gentiles, and they inherited the labor of the nations, and they might observe His statues and Keeps His laws. PRAISE THE LORD!
Today's reading Psalm 105 recounts some of the plagues from Exodus 7-11 that were instrumental in the children of Israel's Deliverence from Egyots captivity. The ninth plague, referred to as " darkness" in Psalm 105:28, results in Pharaoh's acknowledgement of God's power.
So many times we are wrapped up in our present and ignore the lessons of the past. This psalm is a reminder of God's work in the past preparing and providing for His people. based on God's faithfulness in the past, we can have faith for our future. God does not mismanage events or circumstances. His provision is continual of the fulfillment of aphis promise to Abraham. He is at work in all things. He brought out His people with joy and gladness. He provided the land promised so they might observe His statues and keep His laws!,
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Have a VERY BLESSED Thursday. Celebrate God's gifts already given and the Blessings to come
Father God, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
