| What all do yall use or are must haves in your barn medicine cabinet? Both, actual horse meds and people form and why?

| Really, the only thing I keep is Banamine. I do have a few thing for cuts like Vetercyn, biozide Underwood's, wonder dust. That's about it. My horses don't get sick and rarely get hurt. My tablet is on over correct and I am not sure what my post is going to say. |

Location: KS | ^^^^Banamine is about the only thing on keep on hand for horses also, started to keep a bottle of regular Saline solution in case I need to flush out an eye or something, other than that its just wonder dust and a bottle of cut and heal. I do keep bag balm around also for some sores. |

| Here is what my vet tells me to keep stocked at ALL TIMES and I never leave home without.......
1. Banamine ( colic and gut pain)
2. Bute ( Skeletal/joint pain)
3. Previcox ( pain management thats needed over a longer period of time and general soreness from fatigue)
4. SMZs ( Sulfamethozole) General antibiotic /broad spectrum.
5. DEx ( Dexamethosone) for allergic reactions, hives, snake bite.
6. Silver spray for cuts, wounds, etc.
7. ACE (Acepromazine) to sedate an injured horse or a horse that is a threat to itself and anyone around them ( God forbid you get in a trailer wreck and a horse has to be cur out or something. I also use ACE on my colts while seasoning them,
8. Ulcerguard ( Omeprazole) for gastric upset caused by ulcers which a horse can develop in a matter of hours when conditions are right.

Other stuff I can't remember 
my grandma was a nurse forever so we have a plethora of extra medical supplies like sheet cotton sterile pads every type of gauze under the sun etc. that she gave us. I can't tell you how handy its come in over the years.
For people I use whatever equine medical I need if I'm injured and always have my autoimmune disease meds on hand as well as a big bottle of tylenol
Final note, I keep everything that is ointment or medication or topical in a temperature controlled environment. If I need to travel and take things with me it goes in the cab of the truck and into a fridge or cooler asap. Nothing worse than even needing something as simple as a dob of corona ointment and having it be so hot its liquified.
