Kind of beyond me why a farrier should have to go out and catch your horse.  He should already be caught up and ready.  No wonder you have to tip your farriers.

Does anyone's farrier show up on time anymore?. Mine was 2 hours late the other day and ended up only having enough time to do 1 of my 3. This wasn't a last minute appointment request either ..

I tip myself with french fries and a bacon cheeseburger after trimming the entire crew - especially in August when there is no fan on Earth big enough to stop the sweat flood.

Look up how tipping started. some people feel tipping is an insult as it is for "servants" not professionals. I remember when 10% was standard tip, now you are cheap to tip 20%. Out of control if you ask me. People should be paid a decent wage. Sometimes I have to stop and think..Am I supposed to tip for this? geeze.
