Vickie - 2016-08-14 12:31 PM People are offering me more dogs that need a home but I just can't do it yet.  I have taken rescues all my life and have lost some from things like a couple who had drunk antifreeze before I got them.  I think I am getting too old to keep having heart broken.
I know the heartbreak, but, you should be so proud for doing right by these dogs. They need us,and you have stepped up and provided all the love they can handle. Its not easy, but it is very rewarding. They always love you unconditionally. Sometimes there is just nothing you can do about the disease or issues at hand.you did the best you could, after reading about it,it sounded as if he was definatly a high risk of loosing his battle, thank you for taking care of him.If you didnt love them,it wouldnt hurt so bad,but if you didnt love them, they would suffer. They need us as much as we need them.prayers for peace in your heart, for you did all you could do.
