I think it used to be some ungodly amount $1500 or something. But several times a year they offer discounted late registrations. I want to think the cost is $300-$500.

Both sire and dam need to have DNA on file, if they don't you can't.
You will need a stallion report if one wasn't filed, a registration application form with the stallion owner and mares owner signature, a signed transfer.
You will have to parentage verify
Plus a registration fee

48 months after foaling is 505.00 for member and non member is 545.00

I knew it would be a ridiculous process/expensive.
Why can't people just do it when the horses are born!?!?
Such an inconvenience, even not having the paper trail of past owners irritates me.
