What's your outlook on life today? Do you wake up ready to embrace a new day? So many people allow their circumstances to dictate their attitudes; they don't realize their attitude is a CHOICE. Scripture encourages us to constantly put a fresh new mental attitude. When you wake up in the morning, we should CHOOSE to focus on the good things; we should CHOOSE to be grateful; we should CHOOSE to be excited about the new day The Lord has made.
It is all too easy to let our responsibilities and the pressure of life cause us to drift toward negative. But negative thinking bogs us down and causes us to lose our joy and enthusiasm. Before long, we stop appreciating our family and friends; we start believing our boss has something against us. Negative thinking makes the small stuff seem so much bigger than they are, until we are living constant worry and frustration. If this is how you feel STOP! Take heart, life can be different! You can take off that garment of heavens and out on a garment of thanksgiving. That means by an act of your will, YOU can have a NEW OUTLOOK on life.
Remember , WE ALL FACE DIFFICULTIES. WE ALL have obstacles that seem impossible to overcome. The difference between those who are able to rise above their adversities and those who get stuck in them IS their attitude. A key to enjoying your life is finding so etching to be thankful for every day. Make a list. Write down all the good things in your life. Review them each morning . This will help you focus on the treasures that fill your life, and it will give you a poatisitve perspective and grateful heart. We ALL have things for which to be great full, but so e times our perspective can become so distorted that we fail to recognize those good things.
When you magnify something , it doesn't actually change the size of the object, it simply changes your perspective of the object.
Don't long for the good ole days, THESE ARE THE GOOD OLE DAYS, SO MAKE THEM COUNT. We have to keep our eyes on the big picture., so we don't miss the beauty if the moment.
Today things may seem difficult and seem like they will never get better. Perhaps you feel like you are the only one facing your challenge. If you are not careful , you can become so absorbed in your won problems that you fall into a destructive cycle of self pity. However, the truth is, many people would gladly exchange problems with you.
How often do we put off important things because we make them bigger in our minds than they really are?
Everything doesn't have to be perfect before you can enjoy life.
Yesterday's thoughts were pushing me around. Today I'm pushing my thoughts around.
Let me encourage you to get up every day and out on a new fresh attitude. If you'll keep the right perspective , approaching each day with faith, seeing the big picture, than I believe you can live life strong, vibrant, positive, and hopeful.
I CHOOSE to LIVE this day, happy, content, and grateful for what God has given me.
When things are difficult and I'm tempted to get discouraged, I will remember all the great things God has done in my past.
I recognize I was not created to constantly struggle and endure life. I am making a decision to CELEBRATE EACH day, to LIVE it to the fullest and enjoy the people in my life.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Have a BLESSED Tuesday!
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You Amen
Do ALL things in the MIGHTY Name of Jesus, do it with joy today NO MATTER what and see how much just this minor adjustment will make a BIG difference. AMEN
I had a bad run on my first horse this Saturday , it made me have a bad attitude, first bad one this horse had ever ran. Puzzled me, and it made me ride bad on the other three. I just didnt let it go, even though I still won the year end saddle on her . Sunday morning I had to make the decision before I started the runs on this day, let it go, ride the same as always and with that I ran a whole second faster on all the horses, two were in the 1 D and won check on the last horse that day. YES Attitude is the key, let go and let God. For the devil is ALWAYS going to try to mess with my mind. I know in my heart that being in the right path with God will want to make the devil keep after me, but that's ok, because God is the way the truth and the life!!
The ONLY LIFE!!
