I can't vouch for Pro Force, however I have my current futurity horse and 2017 prospect on Ultium. They both look and feel great. The 2017 needs a few more pounds on her, so she currently gets 3# AM and 3# PM. The mare I'm running is an average keeper and I actually feed 50% less Ultium than the feed she was on prior to me switching. She gets just 1.5# AM and 1.5# PM. Considering her workout regimen and the hauling and runs she makes, I'm shocked she doesn't need more. But she's quite fit with just the right amount of "fat". I supplement with electrolytes as needed and Forco. Overall I'm very happy with the product.

Sorry I can't be of more help, I feed Triple Crown Complete 1# twice a day and then at events I bump it up to 1.5# twice a day.

You won't get many comments comparing the 2 from posters on BHW because most people on here are moving away from commercial feeds. Purina and Nutrena are on the list of what not to feed.

I used to feed the Pro Force. LOVED how my horses looked. I did switch to the Blue Bonnet Omega Intensify pellets as they are made in safe mills.

Blue Bonnet makes a nice product.

I agree. I have two on ProForce Fuel and I do really like how they look on it. But I did find the one seemed to get a bit on the hotter side on it. The other horse did great. But after yet another scare I'm too nervous to keep feeding a feed that's manufactured anywhere other than ionophore free mills. So I'm switching those two over to Seminole and they will be done with the switch by next week. Seminole is what I've been feeding the others in the barn for a while now.

But if you are going to choose between one of those two, I personally have had better luck with Nutrena over Purina. I'd go with the ProForce.

I am also of no help. I feed Bluebonnet Ex Factor once a day, Renew Gold once a day, free choice round bale coastal, orchard grass hay, and bermuda. Salt and mineral blocks are free choice.
My mare gets alfalfa squares and alfalfa cubes.

If Bluebonnet is not in your area, you can call them and they can contact feed stores in your area in order to get the feed to you.

Mine does awesome on Ultium. I've tried him on some others and always go back to Ultium! He looks good and it doesn't make him hot at all.
