hoofs_in_motion - 2016-09-01 8:46 AM DAC oil and DAC colt grower, plus a few flakes of alfalfa per day helps tremendously

I have a friend with a QH gelding who was breed for english. Had some TB in him, tall and lanky and always looked thin and ribby.  She tried LOTS of stuff and finally put him on DAC Oil and he looked like a different horse.  I think she started out by giving him 8 ounces a day until he bulked up and then was able to back off

Running B - 2016-09-01 10:57 PM I am feeding Safe Choice Perform twice a day a good coastal and he's out on the pasture all day.

How many pounds of Safe Choice are you giving him? Depending on how much you are giving, he might just need more.  It could be another half to 1lb per feeding.

I have a granddaughter of Poco Tivio we got as a two year old. She was long legged, narrow and shallow bodied. By the time she turned five she looked like a tank. Some horses take longer to mature.

THIS!!!!! Had a scrawny Poco Tivio, bought him for nothing...people warned me that blood line was notoriously late to mature. They were right...between 3 n 5 he filled out and got beefy and gorgeous.
