| what is the best type of oil (corn,canola,vegetable,etc) to feed a barrel horse for coat, hooves, and hair? Nothing that will make them any hotter though! |

| I feed my horse Soybean oil and he looks great. Inexpensive as well. $16 for for 4 gallons which lasts me abut 2 months if I feed him a cup per day. |

| Following this !! I've been feeding mine DAC oil .. Love it !! But I'm tired of having to order it :( all I can really get locally though is healthy coat , rice bran & cocosoya oil |

         Location: Sunnyland Florida | No oil. Feed whole sources that contain oil in SMALL amounts, but not processed oils! Don't fall for the oil/product marketing empires!

   Location: God's country...aka TEXAS | Mega Oil by oxygen. It has soy and flax seed oil. Makes them look awesome and have the correct omegas. |
