Regular Posts: 63 Location: B-F-E	So I'm a nurse in Indiana contemplating the possibility of farrier school in the future. I have 10 horses and figure it would save me a gazillion dollars in the long run. Plus it's so hard to find a good farrier around here. Can anyone recommend a good farrier school and any good advice on this topic??? Thanks :)

Industrial Srength Barrel Racer Posts: 7265	There is one around Oklahoma City - I have no idea what part of the country you live in though. I actually got info from them and thought about going myself EONS ago as I was sick of loser farriers who couldn't make appointments or return calls.

Elite Veteran Posts: 889	There is Midwest Horse Shoeing school in Divernon, Illinois, near Springfield. I have no personal experience with them, but their program seems popular.

I've never found a farrier that was worth a crap that went to the Oklahoma School.
