This year we decided we are going to keep riding all winter long (normally, we turn our horses out to pasture all winter)... but, this year we have the opportunity to ride indoors few days a week and Ill probably ride outside a couple days.  Any cooler sheet recommendations?  Is one brand better than another?
Thank you!

Both fleece and wool will work fine, the fleece are a bit cheaper though. So I got 3 or 4 running around the trailer.
What works great for me is to put 1 on when we are done with our cool down, and keep an eye on it. Once the moisture comes through the blanket I will change it out for a dry one. Usually he will be dry when that one starts to get damp on the outside.

Now mind you, I am in Central TX so it doesn't get crazy cold here. The only thing I would do different if you are farther up north is to walk amybe 2 or 3 laps when done with the workout and then put a cooler over the horses butt and walk some more. Just to keep the muscles in the back from getting cold.

Sorry, eta. I see you are asking about brands, I don't think there is a big difference between the brands, just make sure you have a good quality fleece or wool.

Schneiders belly band coolers are the best I've found. Gives you the best coverage and also great for layering under blankets for extra warmth.

I have won a few and have never used them.

Nothing beats walking one out and rubbing with rags
