How do you price a saddle that there aren't many made, or not many on the market to compare prices to? I have a Marlene Eddleman made by Ammerman that I am thinking of selling next year and have recently looked around and there were not any I could find for sale!

I had Carl make me one years ago and it was a great saddle and I regretted selling it.
I would price it the same as any of his saddles are priced. It has a modified roping tree in it and it seemed to fit many horses.

I am not sure of your location but here in North Texas Ammerman's are around the mid price range. Retail value for a used Ammerman roping or barrel saddle regardless of who it is by and in great condition without many miles retail here for around $800-$900. I've seen heavily used Barrel Saddles here bring $500-$600.
Good luck pricing your saddle!
