| A lamp to my feet and light to my path. Psalm 119:105
It's a comforting reminder , because we need such a light and we are desperate for such a lamp.
Have you ever or are you walking I'm darkness? No doubt you have at some point. A moonless night, awake at night in a strange place. When there is no light, you stumble around. Your bump into a wall, or even worse, trip and fall. It's a bad thing to take a spill in a room, but far worse to take a fall in life.
Without God's truth, without light of His revelation, we are blinded like a man walking in darkness. We take a wrong turn. We make a bad choice. We do what seems best, but quickly learn that sometimes what seems best can end up very wrong.
You can either go through life guessing, making decisions based on a hunch, or something you've heard, or you can turn the light on. God's Word gives us wisdom where to go. If you find yourself walking in darkness, you reach for a flashlight. In life, reach for God's Word. Trust His truth, follow His principles, and walk in the light.
Live in such a way that those who know you, but don't know God will come to know God because they know you!
For it is WITH God all things are possible
