Horse is on alfalfa, Timothy, 1 lb Renew Gold, 2 scoops Platinum and his joint supplement. I initially started him on PP to address some skin issues due to fly irritation (he rubbed a hole in his neck). We avoided the hole in his neck this year being on it....but I'm still dealing with some coughing when we pick up speed. Just not sure if PP is really worth it?

Has anyone else switched and what did you switch too? Mostly concerned about meeting all his vit/min requirements.

Don't they make an allergy supplement, too? I used to use PP and Animal Element together years ago. I really liked them but I quit riding for a while so I quit feeding it. I was fixing to go back to that combo but then I discovered Cur Ost through Herbie's post and used that instead.
Since PP helped with the itching, I would contact them to see what they recommend.

Seemed like the PP antihistamine supplement was super expensive and in a much smaller container than the original supplement.

I would definitely contact them---they are so great to work with and had suggestions no matter how many questions I asked!!

Years ago I had a vet recommend Omega Horse Shine for a horse of mine (who was very itchy and nothing seemed to help) and I have used the product with EVERY horse I've had ever since.

Not only did OHS totally stop my horse's itching but it gave him the smoothest shiniest coat!

This stuff looks really promising.
