| So the makers of equioxx/previcoxx made a HORSE version thats in pill form. What this does is " Technically" force the vets to prescribe this new pill rather than previcox. Guess what, its $250 for a 60 pill bottle. Previcox remains about 75.00 for 60 pill bottle. Thank God I have an arthritic DOG!!!! |

Location: MD | I work for a vet and Merial is charging the same exact price for Previcox 57 MG 60 count as the Equioxx 57 MG 60 count. Please don't let your vets tell you that.

| The price is the same as 57mg previcox. If your vet is charging you more than, well.........
Unless you're figuring cost based on a 227mg cut in quarters? If you are, just be careful in doing this. If the horse is insured and they request vet records, having a 227 previ in the horse's history can get them out of paying a claim. |

Location: The South | Oh yes sorry I should've said I get a 60 count bottle of the 227mg and quarter them. He's not insured, but that is good info to know, thank you! So am I paying way too much for the Previcox through petmeds? My vet doesn't carry anything in his office, he just okays the script for me through petmeds. |
