Location: Ohio | I bought a nice little mare a few weeks ago and cannot come up with a good barn name for her. She is a 15hh chestnut with lots of chrome, G brand on her left hip. Super sweet and in your pocket type, huge motor and tough as nails. A week after I brought her home I started slowly introducing her to the herd. One of my horses went after her and she ended up with a 5 inch chunk of wood lodged in her shoulder and has yet to take a lame step after everything the vet and I have put her through. I've looked all over the place for ideas but nothing sticks... I'm so used to having geldings that I'm really stumped with this one lol Help! |

Location: Texas | im the worst with names.. I usually keep their barn name unless there's a reason, like we already have one with that name or I just cant stand the name they have. When I pick new barn names I usually go based off their papers, but sometimes other things. Here's how we picked our horses names for some ideas...
My mare Bunny's second dam is Bunnys Fortune
Lucys reg name is Reckless Lucy
Lulu's dam is Lucy so she got named something close to her.
Whatson was not named based off his papers- he has a question mark on his head
Pearl is named Black Pearl Design after the ghost ship the black pearl
April was born on April Fools Day
I named a colt I sold Chops because his dad is First Down French and his barn name is Chopper. I also called him Chomper sometimes when he was mouthy :P.
Cali got her name because shes also a FDF and he lives in CA
Judge got his name because his dam is a Jet of Honor and Judges are addressed as "your honor"

Location: Southeast Louisiana | Only ones I can think of sound more like boy names. Tuff, Gritty, maybe Stabby, lol. Calamity Jane? Trying to think of tough women names. Joan of Arc? Laila, like Laila Ali? She's a boxer, undefeated I think. All I can think of right now. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | If you're a fan of the Walking Dead, the barb wire wrapped baseball bat is named Lucille. That's pretty tough, lol. |
