| We need to learn to ENJOY the present moments in our life now! The present moment " RIGHT NOW" is all we are guaranteed, so DONT WAIT until later, until you get married, until you retire, until you can go on vacation, until your children finish school. Nobody knows what is going to happen next in their lives or in this world. You are alive NOW, so maximize it, embrace it, and CELEBRATE IT!
Let's be serious enough to accomplish out goals in life, but not so serious that we don't live in the moment , and enjoy each one of them.
Psalm 118:24 This is the day which The Lord has made ; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
John 10:20 I came that they may have and enjoy foe, and have it in abundance.
John 15:11 I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.
As I share this message today, because like all the others it spoke to me personally, I have worked hard all my life. Trying to find joy in every experience, was'nt always my goal. It was surviving at times, I was going through breast cancer, 12 years ago, then identity theft, it took my joy totally away from me. Now as I am getting older, 63 yrs old in December, my goal is to have JOY and to ENJOY each moment in my life , no matter how minimum it may be, each day be glad an rejoice! Every morning is God's way of saying one more time, this day I made for you, be encouraged, make the most of TODAY! Learn to enjoy God's presence in everything we do. Try reminding yourself throughout the day that God is with you and the moment you have right now is a gift from Him.
I was struggling with the whole concept of enjoying life until I started my daily journey studying the Lord's Word. Now I know it is His will and something I am not only entitled to, but actually need. I NEED to enjoy life for myself, but also for Jesus, Who paid a very high price for me to be able to do so.
We fail to set our minds to enjoy each day in life, we can easily fall into a pattern of surviving or enduring rather than enjoying. Please repeat this; I live in the present and enjoy each moment. If you have made mistakes, WE ALL HAVE, you can learn from them and if you had great victories , remembering them will allow you to enjoy them over again.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Help me Lord enjoy this day with gladness Amen
