Fortunately the main horse in the post is doing well, now horse #2 just decided to get a nicer puncture wound & hit a vein. Don't worry vet is en route & I guess everything hits at once right? Ugh.

Okay we are all set! Horse #1 & #2 are good to go, all wrapped up & tucked in. Now I just need to bubble wrap horse #3s stall! Lol.

Chandler's Mom - 2016-10-22 10:39 PM Hope it turns out to be nothing serious and he's right as rain in no time.
Β Thank you! He definitely seems to be enjoying the extra attention! He's been extra cuddly. Which helps since my dog actually passed the same day he started acting funny.

Β
God bless your heart, you've had it tough. Praying extra hard for him and for your grieving. . . . Was it the dog in your avatar?

Thank you, I appreciate it! & yes it was the dog in my Avatar. Β

Of course my silly brain liked to imagine that I had some kind of magical bond with my horse & he was just sad because I was. Ha wishful thinking I guess?

Oh I absolutely don't think that's wishful thinking---they KNOW when we hurt and something is wrong and I fully believe they react to it. Bet your bippy your horse knows you were in pain. . .

And your pup had the sweetest face---he looks like he was a very loved boy. Or girl. . .

Glad your herd of animals seems to have leveled out----best wishes for their safety!

Yea, I would love to think he was acting funny from vibing off me. Who really knows. Since I had the vet out anyway last night thanks to my other horse, she gave me a tube of ulcergaurd just to be safe!

& thank you, my "old man" was one of a kind! 18 years old, so it was no surprise. I had him for 16 of those years. Just an old pound mutt. But sooooo smart, or should I say wise? I could go on for days.

& thanks to all the kind words!

I 100% agree with the after hours part! I don't think I have ever had to call the vet during hours. Other than regular maitenance of course.  & it all happens at once right?
