Our new trailer did not come with a door organizer. I didn't mind because I bought a classic equine organizer for relatively cheap and figured I could install it myself. Now I'm nervous to drill in to my door until I know exactly what I am doing. Has anyone installed on of these in their own trailer? What did you use and how did you attach it? It has rings at the top so I'm thinking some sort of hook? How do I attach the bottom so that it doesn't blow around when my tack room door is open? Help me!!

Put a bridle hook on the inside of door and hook the organizer on it at the top ..

Use some Velcro strips to steady the bottom .... to the door ..

Your door should have a hollow frame that you can drill a hole and screw the rack onto without any problems ... hole should be smaller than the screws you use ...
If steel door ... squirt holes with paint to prevent rust ...
if aluminum .. no problem with rust

You can buy individual hooks at TSC and most hardware stores

Mine came with eyelets on each corner and we drilled right into the door and then ran the screws in to install it.  Super easy.  If it doesn't have some sort of tie or hole for screws at the bottom, then I'd buy a roll of velcro and stick one side on trailer, other side on the organizer and you'll be good to go!

I used one of those shoe organizers and some self tapping screws. Zip zip zip and done.

This is how we did ours. Spaced right as well as provides extra bridle hooks for all my halters and such.

I used to have one and it came with metal brackets.  I wonder if yours are missing?

Mine definitely didn't come with any metal brackets. I'll have to look in to that.

Thanks everyone for the ideas! It definitely helps a lot!
