| I do. He was a late maturer. Mine had a winning 4 year old year then went backwards his 5 year old year. Lost his darn mind! But few short months and he grew up and working good again! |

Location: Lost in the corn of Iowa. | I have a MJP grand daughter now that I just got. She has a very sensitive nature, push style for sure. But I have to take things slow with her because someone has pushed her too hard and she needs to build her confidence back up again. Fast learner and eager to please, show her once and she has it. Now just to help her gain confidence again.

Location: SW North Dakota | I had one! I loved his mind, he was OTT and 4 when I got him. He was really sweet and quiet and wanted to learn, plus he was gorgeous. He didn't have the best feet. Low heel, shelly wall, thin sole- even with good nutrition and expert farrier care, he had problem feet. He also travelled funny in his hock- they were pretty "rolly." I ended up selling him before I had him finished. I had gotten him sound and sold him as a kids' gymkhana horse. I think the family still has him (sold him 10 years ago). |

Location: Heart of Texas | LOVE my MJP granddaughter. She's OTT and gritty. Was running top of the 2d by the end of her first year out before I got too pregnant to ride. I'm legging her back up after a 6 month hiatus and she hasn't forgotten a thing. She's all go, Not push style at all. A bit sensitive. I can't hammer on her or she just breaks down. She's a bit lackadaisical honestly until she knows it's business time. Then she's on the muscle. Very marish. Doesn't spook at anything. RUNS the barn lol. I want another like her! |

| I think the bottom side is really important with Mr Jess Perry. Our son, Pistol Packin Perry, is out of a Takin On The Cash daughter and he is so level headed. He throws that in his babies. One of the older babies ran on the track, went from race training to the arena about a 6 month period he placed at his first futurity and has since gone on to be rodeo seasoned. He just takes everything in stride and he has a great work ethic. I am really excited about the babies we have coming up. I decided to keep a nice colt out of a Dash Ta Fame daughter to futurity myself instead of sending him to the track.

Location: NE Texas | I had a Fly Jess Fly daughter out of a daughter of Holland Ease that showed early talent and has gone on to make a nice horse. She was, and still can be, difficult to handle due to some bad experiences at the track i'm guessing, but she was gorgeous and very willing once you were on her back. She is actually very ratey, but can absolutely fly as well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a MJP grandget, especially out of the right kind of mare. |

Location: Texas | I had a rock solid jess filly who I adored. She was easy to ride, easy to train, and a natural on the pattern. Also hauled like a mature horse from the very beginning, even at 3. unfortunately, she came up mildly lame one day and we radiographed her pastern to find ringbone starting, and evidence of an old fracture she probably got as a baby. I didnt want to cripple her so I halted her training and traded her for a yearling gelding at the time. She's had her first foal by sun of a bunny and her colt was super nice looking. I wish she would have had a chance to shine, but long term she wouldn't have held up. And it wasn't any fault of her pedigree... she most likely had some sort of traumatic accident as a foal that we didnt know about. |

Location: Durango CO | Thanks for the replies. I'm looking at a coming 2 year old. If I buy this filly she will be the 4th horse I have bought from the same people. They are honest about their horses, I also like hearing about what other say. I hope they have speed, this filly would be my first futurity prospect.
Any futurity people with experiences? |

Location: Missouri | I have a two year old filly by Mr Jess Charger. She is out of my paint mare (TT x Kitaman). I absolutely love her! I'm just now getting her started, and she makes me feel like a horse trainer! lol! She's been so easy...not a dead-head, but sensible. I am so excited to futurity her! I hope to be on track for her 4 year old year, but I will just enter side-pots or as funds allow. She's kind, easy-going, gets along with all the other horses. No complaints except that she's tiny. She's 14.2 right now, but I'm so hoping for another two inches at least! Here she is with my 4-year-old daughter. They're pretty good friends :)
