Has anyone tried the DAC mare relieve? I have a 2yr old who rubs, kicks, and just over all seems bothered when she is cycling. I'm hoping maybe she will line out a little as she gets older, but it only seems to be increasing. She has a good attitude, just rubs in the stall like crazy! I'm not sure if its exactly due to her heat cycles, as I have seen it at other times. Just to add, I don't think its an allergy. She was recently put on steroids for a coughing issue, and we saw no difference what so ever in the rubbing. She rubs bad enough and bangs around that she is about to just be turned out 24/7, which I'm ok with! But she is on some stall rest right now and is just a complete bear to have inside!

Following this thread!! I will say , someone suggested I try " mare tonic " from equine natural care herbs. I paste mine with it and it has an almost immediate effect!!! Min got shod today and was rubbing before we started her. I pasted her and she was an angel the entire time and relaxed!

Interesting! I'll have to look into this! How long do the effects last?

I just started mine a week ago so still playing with it. Your supposed to give one scoop daily in feed. Mine is picky so I paste it. I might try re doing feed route next week. If all goes well mine will stay on it forever. One bag is 60 days and it's 66 a bag. Reasonable in my book.
