Location: Georgia | Which is preferred and what are the common uses for both? How much do you give for a loading dose and then maintenance dose. General information, experiences, pros/cons, or other medication preferences are much appreciated! |

| Just started my gelding on it for a microscopic cyst on his fetlock, barely saw it on xrays. Load dose of 6 cc, 3x one week apart and then monthly. He's had 2 doses and already feels better. |

Are you using the regular or the gold? Thank you for the information! |

Regular. I injected as well. I also took my open horse in for a yearly checkup and while he was a little sore in his stifle his xrays were all clean. We started him on Pentosan also for maintenance. I feed my own mix of glucosamine, msm, chondroitin and turmeric daily as well |

Yes. I've only begun the loading dose on my 5 yr old. He'll get his 3rd tomorrow. I didn't notice any difference after the first dose but did after the second. My open horse will start his loading dose tomorrow. All 6cc one week apart for 3 weeks and then 6cc monthly |

Thank you very much for the information. I have a 8 year old mare that has some kissing spine issues and some stifle issues. I do a lot of collected long trotting and loping and also trotting/loping hills and backing up hills with her. Hopefully the Pentosan will help in the areas that I'm missing or need some additional support. |
