For those who have a Casa Zia, do you use it under a felt pad or use the blanket alone? Also, which ones are the 'real deal' because I'm seeing quite a range of prices online. Thanks

I see a lot of calf ropers using them under a felt pad, but wondering if the authentic Casa Zia (which is doubled and sewn) is heavy enough to use by itself.

I've used them just under felts. It makes your felts last sooo much longer. Casa zias are the absolute best, they never get stiff. Worth the money!

It shouldn't. They aren't super thick.
