| Anyobody on here attend one yet? If so, what's her style or instruction like? I have the opportunity to attend either hers or Dena Kirkpatrick Or Charmayne next summer, and need to make plans real soon before they are full. Jane is coming closest to me, and by far more cost efficient. Would love to hear your input thanks. |

Location: Deep South | I'm dying to go to Dena's. She would definitely be my choice over the other 2 and I've been to a CJ. |

| I have only watched one of Jane's during an expo - but I would say any chance you have to go to a Dena Kirkpatrick clinic, take it! |

| I've been to Janes and Denas. I like both ladies, and they both obviously know their stuff. Personally, I thought Jane's was MUCH better. I learned a lot more and spent triple the amount of time on my horse (as did everyone else). Jane rides more my style. I struggled with knocking for a bit on my mare after Denas, as it was just not a good fit. Jane's was perfect and I'd attend another in a heartbeat. She's great and you'll get the most bang for your buck. |

Location: Indiana | We have hosted a clinic as well as our girls attending another after ours. Jane is very knowledgeable, will spend the individual time with you and is great for all ages. Our girls got a lot out of her clinic and so did I. She can teach to a variety of riding abilities all in the same clinic. Cayla was at both of the clinics we attended and had great input as well. Jane has been successful in the horse show and rodeo arena at a wide variety of levels. |

Location: Texas! | I really liked Janes clinic she gave good one on one instruction and gave tips like where you needed shorter reins or a smaller seat to placement of your foot in the stirrup. I noticed a big different in my times and was placing more consistently in the 1D where before we were top of 2D bottom of 1D. |

Location: MN | JANE"S HANDS DOWN!! She is one of the best clinicians out there!! She is VERY observant, and will tell you exactly what is going on in your runs. She really concentrates on body posture, hand positioning and your horse's position coming into the barrel. She has many tips to pass along from her MANY years riding. She will gladly work with you one on one if you have any questions. Jane ROCKS!!!! |

Location: North Dakota | I went to an "abbreviated" Jane Melby clinic two years ago. It was only a 4 hour session. She focused on the path you should take for the fastest run. It was really different from clinics I've had before. I liked it and found it very helpful and beneficial. She also spent individual time with each horse and rider. |

| I would say my riding style would be the ultimate deciding factor for me. I ride a bit more like Dena than Jane but I am sure you will learn lots at both. |

This is one of my questions, can you describe the riding style of both Jane and Dena? I have no idea sorry, thanks. |

| I loved the Jane Melby clinic I went to. I felt like I learned how to be a much more effective jockey. She really gets in depth and breaks down your position - how you're sitting, where you have your feet placed in the stirrups, how you're holding your reins and asking your horse for the turn, etc. |
