Has anyone ever tried to remove the paint from painted tack? I am looking at a painted saddle and I'm in love with the saddle but not the painted flowers.

I wonder if finger nail paint/polish remover on cotton balls would work, and then follow threw with a good cleaning and oiling of your saddle.

More than likely, you will never get it all off even if you use deglazer or acetone. Some paint will have absorbed into the "bare" leather as it was painted. One suggestion is to remove as much as possible and then find a "stain" (or paint) close to the color of the saddle (lt brown...med. brown, etc?)..... and repaint ... It will be a lot of work!
