Admins, please delete if not allowed. I have posted about my blind mare alot lately.  She is doing GREAT.   BUT I have lost my job and I cannot afford 3 horses anymore so I am looking to re-home her and my other horse (who has found a home).  Does anyone know anyone that can  take her? Free to a great home.  I am not worried about her finding her way around a new place just no barbed wire fencing.  It took her two weeks to figure out my place.  I know this is not ideal but it is what is best since I cannot afford feed.......

I am located outside of Memphis, TN but I will travel for a great home.

She would be a great compainon horse, even with a little training she could be rode again.

I will have to have a vet and three other references.

Please no rude comments or suggestions on keeping her.  I have prayed of this and this is the right thing to do.

Please be very carefull and have a good contract, refrences and mandatory updates. I have seen this way to many times people offer a great home and the next week the horse is at auction and in the kill pen headed to mexico. Most times the kindest thing for the horse is to save her fromm all that stress and horror and just put her down so you KNOW she never suffered.

Thank you guys.  I will have a contract drawn up and check on her. If it doesn't work out, I will put her down but hopefully it won't come to that. I putting this in God's hands.

Contracts are not worth the time it takes to write one up if you don't have money for a good attorney.even then you may never find her if you give her away.thats what happened to me.i had a contract too...The mare was long gone.i still don't know if she's dead or alive.

Β Thank you guys. Β I will have a contract drawn up and check on her. If it doesn't work out, I will put her down but hopefully it won't come to that. I putting this in God's hands.Β

Praying that perfect forever home comes along for her, one you KNOW you can trust. I'm sorry, I know this must be hard for you.

Let us know when (I'm having faith) you find her that home. . . .
