We always stay at the Excalibur. Great price and location. It is worth to get a room in the recently renovated tower. The old rooms are not so nice anymore.

How long are you staying? We've stayed at the Excalibur, Luxor, & Mirage and it's all been great. Mirage had the nicest rooms so far and it's the most convenient because across the street is a Denny's, McDonalds, & Panda Express so if you need cheap food it's right there.
We just went for New Years and went with another couple and stayed at the Holiday Inn Desert Club resort. It's behind the LINQ. It's basically a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen and living room. It was pretty handy because if you don't plan on walking the strip everyday, you can relax at the room and there's plenty of space to get ready like if you're going out for shows each night. Take advantage of Uber and UberEATS.
Be aware that most hotels charge $10/Day for parking.

We've always stayed at the Excalibur but next year we plan on staying at MGM. We were at the MGM every night so we decided we'd stay there next year.
