Tod Slone also makes a B3 tree with flatter bars than their regular. My guy takes that one.

I was having that issue as well, I finally gave up and went with a treeless again, had a BM but didn't care for it, have. Tammi Fischer now and I like it a LOT better. I also loved the just be natural!

That sweat pattern indicates a saddle that bridges. The saddle(the tami) doesnt have enough rock which is causing no contact in the middle. Or it could have way too much rock and have too much pressure, but it would feel weird while riding.

You might try a cutting saddle and see how it fits. Some racers would rather ride a cutting saddle, I've heard them say.  I've had one before, and wish I had it back for my flatter backed young ones, now.

Β Have you seen the new saddles that Burns Saddlery are making now? The trees absolutely do not rock! Contact their sales rep, Wendy J Winn, and she can explain. Here in Colorado, Toni Hardin is promoting them. Several of us have orders in but you are looking at a 6 month wait. Β However, I was fortunate to buy one at their booth in Vegas!Β

What tree do they have in them? There's a lady in my area selling one with a timberline tree. Headed to vegas tomorrow and going to pick the brains of every saddle maker there.. :)

ETA: Stopped by their booth today and really like the look of the tree and feel of the saddle. Unfortunately don't have $3,800 to drop on a saddle right now. I'll be looking around for a used one :)

$3800 is pretty high for a saddle, especially one that might not fit. At this point I would look at funding the right tree and have a custom built saddle around the best fitting tree.

As I said in my reply, I did end up buying one (not for 3,800 mind you) and it did not fit but she offered to build me a custom. I don't have 6 to 8 months to wait for a custom saddle though.

It has way too much rock. You can see it popping up even with a shim in the picture. Everything I've tried has way too much rock.
