What is your typical routine for hauling to, and competing at a rodeo or barrel race? Pre-warmup, warmup, after you run? Hauling? Let's share tips and ideas!

Simple as possible. Saddle 45 min to an hour from my run. 30ish minutes I get on walk trot, lope ask for bend each way, elevate shoulders ribs, drive with hip. Then walk until 10ish minutes to run, I also change to bit I run in and boot up and final tighten of cinch. Stay away from alley until person before me runs, then I head toward alley. As soon as possible I step off uncinch and remove boots and hand walk until breathing returns to normal. Then unsaddle offer water and hay. I keep hay and waster in front of my horses at all times with the exception of while riding. Pretty much same routine at team ropings too. If it's safe I score my horse in ally before unsaddling also.
