I have been looking for a clinician/trainer that is similar to what he taught. I have rode with Ed for the past 12 years and his style works for me. But I need someone that can help me through some problems and I love going to clinics. I know that learning even one thing at a clinic is better then not learning at all. But I would really like to stay close to Ed's style if at all possible. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Im in the same boat. I am actually going to attend one of the Saddle up for Christ clinics this year. They have so many different clinicians that Im sure I can learn a thing or two and they let you bring up to 2 horses and the best part is that it is free! But I have thought about attending a Chris Martin clinic, heard they were great, or Danyelle Campbell has so much knowledge I would love to tap into.

I would also like thoughts on this, I attended 3 of his clinics in the past 10years all on a diff horse, he helped me dramatically. I have the option of Dena K. or Charmayne this year close to me..so undecided!

I Miss "Uncle Ed" BIG TIME! The - I've been to a Zillion Ed Clinics, Kelly Yates, Charmayne, Judy M, Marylin C., Connie Combs, Ryan Lovendahl and several others. I recommend Connie or Ryan since we are missing Ed. .... Still not the same, but closest that I know of.

Give Jacque Woolman a call several of us used to ride quite a bit with ED. She's put on several clinics in Llano.

At Ed's clinic he talked several times about helping and teaching Lisa Lockhart. If I were to take a shot at someone teaching a similar style to Ed, I would go with her.

I loved Chris Martin and hope to ride with him again, dates keep conflicting.

I will say I also rode with Ed, if you like Ed's methods and don't want to change them then Chris may not be the clinician for you. I didn't get along quite as well with Ed's methods and Chris's really clicked for me, but I feel they are pretty different especially when it comes to turning.
