If so, do you like or no? I added it up and the 5gallon jug is cheaper in the long run than buying Healthy Coat for 3 horses..we have 2 hard keepers so thinking this would be great to put on top of the rice bran as well

I have fed it for a year now (although I did back off during summer) and I absolutely love it.  I feed it to my older guy because he needed help keeping weight on him and it has been a great help, plus his coat is super shiny and bonus – he likes it and eats it right up!

I was feeding it until disvoering a few of my horses were allergic to soy and MegaOil is pretty much just a soy oil. So I finished off what I had and don't plan on getting anymore.

I spent a lot of time last summer researching feed allergies - especially soy and you would be surprised of the changes to my horse's attitudes and body condition after taking them off any and all soy products. It is VERY hard to do - it's in evertyhing, even some vitamins.

Great, my mare has allergies as well..and now today just placed an order for the 5gall jug! I was thinking soy oil was better than the plain veggie oils or corn oils too

I heavily researched it about a year ago. Talked to a rep etc etc. I ended up going with Platinum Performance Healthy Weight instead. Ultimately it ended up costing less when I calculated everything out and I liked that it was a flax oil.

We have fed it for almost a year and LOVE IT. My fiancΓ© works cows all day on our horses... they are saddled before dawn in the morning and usually not unsaddled until after dark- then they get hauled to the barrel races and ranch rodeos on the weekends. Ours all stayed big, fat and slick on it. Everything from three year olds to my 22 year old retired rodeo horse ate it and thrived on it.

The soy oil in it is cold pressed, which keeps the nutrients in. There are different types of soy and its processing. This is the good kind. It also has flax oil. Both HELP allergies.

Here is a good short article on soy, as mentioned above, not all soy is created equal. It has a multitude of benefits. THE does make soy free products for those that truly do have horses with soy allergies.
