Location: London Ontario | I am about to purchase some PHT MagnaCU products and am looking for some advice. I currently have BOT products and really like them but with the mare that I have currently, I would like to do my very best to keep her in top running condition! SO my questions are: 1) When do you use BOT vs PHT? I was thinking BOT before my run and PHT after.. 2) Can you use both at once? PHT blanket but BOT leg wraps? 3) In my BWH search i've come across a few posts about not using liniment or fly sprays... is this correct for both therapies? Is there any brands for either that are safe to use? 4) Might seem silly but if I am hauling with the PHT, do the magnets stick to the horse trailer at all? 5) Is there a time frame you will pull off either therapy before a run? Or are they okay to use right up until you warm up.
Any other advise is greatly appreciated! |

| I can't answer all of your questions, but I bought a Full Throttle PHT hood for a horse I have with poll issues. You can visibly see him relax within minutes of wearing it, so I believe in it!
I think the fly sprays and liniments can ruin the copper infused fabric. |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | I recently switched from BOT to the PHT MagnaCu myself and i asked all of these questions as well.. heres the info i got from my dealer and my personal use as well: 1) you can use it whenever you want! its you & your horses preference. I use mine before and after a run, i havent left them on all night yet just bc of fear of my horses ripping the mesh. but a lot of my friends leave theres on overnight. 2) You can use both at once but they are two completely different types of therapies. It wont do harm though. I peresonally do not like the BOT anymore and didn't see as big of a difference as i do with my MagnaCu so i quit using it, especially on legs. 3) PHT does NOT want you to use any type of linemints or sprays under their product. They cannot guarentee what ingrediants are in the products you use and do not want to risk burn so they tell you not to. bc i used to put Sore No More on my boys stifles before we ran and my dealer said just to make sure it is completely washed off before you put any of the PHT products on top. Plus it can also ruin the copper/magnets. ive never heard of you not being able to use anything under the BOT bc its just ceramic therapy and not actual magnets. 4) No, they dont stick to trailer metal. lol atleast i havent had them do it to me. 5) theres no specific time frame. I pull mine off right before i tack up and go! after run we cool down, untack, and throw it right back on. I love how you can see where excatly your horse is sore. Hope this helped you! if you have any other questions, the dealer i got my stuff from is called 'High Class Equine Therapy' she was SO SO informative and really helped me a ton! |

You will love PHT! 1. You can use PHT at any time 2. I would keep them separate but the way you explained, it won't hurt. But - why not just get the leg gear too! lol :) 3. It is not recommended to use any products under PHT - some products have ingredients that will create heat AND you don't need anything except the PHT. 4. The magnets won't affect hauling in the trailer :) 5. You can use right before you run. It's recommended that you use at least 20 minutes for the therapy to be most effective
Hope that helps! I'm a dealer so would love to earn your business! There are other great dealers on here as well as the PHT creator SG so any other questions just ask away and someone will jump on here. |
