| Need opinions on how to spend my money...do you prefer THE GastroPlus or DePaolo Excel? The horse I will be treating is already on an alfalfa based, low starch diet. Would you treat with omeprazole first prior to starting either supplement? TIA!! |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I've only ever use THE GASTROPLUS. Any new horse we bring in gets treated. My main horse gets treated with it once a year unless she starts acting like she needs something. But since feeding THE MM with the ulcer prevent, she's been good. |

| You might also look into OE Nutraceuticals products. They work. |

Location: IL | I love Excel from Depaolo. All of my horses are on it. I've tried a ton of other things and this product showed my great results. Plus I had my mare scoped for ulcers and you could clearly see how well it was working. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | I started to use THE products back in 2005 and they have worked great for my horses so I have never had to try something else.
THE GastroPlus worked great on my horse that had hind gut ulcers. THE comes with a money back guarantee so, IMO, it just doesn't get better then to back your products. I don't know what kind of guarantees DePaolo Excel has. |

Location: TN | I used Gastroplus on a horse with suspected ulcers a couple years ago and it worked wonders! He acted like a totally different horse after the 30 day treatment. It's what I'll be turning to if I ever have another ulcer issue. I had used omeprazole from the vet on a different horse a few years earlier and honestly couldn't tell a difference in the mare. |

| I had used the excel on my one gelding for about a year and thought I was seeing good results. He has been retired from riding so haven't kept in on it. It did not seem to do a thing for my other gelding though. I treated him with omeprazole for a month and a half and saw drastic improvement in his symptoms within 10 days, but when I started weaning him off of it I started seeing symptoms again (pain in his girth area, nipping and cowkicking at my when I touched his belly). So then I started gastro plus. About a week on it and his symptoms went away again. I am almost through the bag and I am debating on order the gi support now. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Yes it is on sale for March! Great time to take the plunge if you have been on the fence about trying it. It still has a 45 day money back guarantee. We also have GI Support, a preventitive and Colic Rescue on sale through March. |
