I saw my friend the other day with a set of Tough 1 boots on her horse. I really liked how snug, close and covered the overreach boots were, and then noticed the other features of the boot. I was really impressed.
She gave me a surprised look when I said I hadn't seen or heard of them, before. They will be the next boots I buy, though.
Have y'all tried them?
I have a pair of Tough 1s and think they're good quality especially for the price.
The boots I like vary with the horse. Chance only wears PC Deluxe bell boots when he runs. I have a pair of the newer RES bells for him on everyday rides. He runs in polos. Clifford has two sets of PC VenTech Elites and a pair of CE no turn bell boots
(PC are too tall
). Streak can wear CE Legacy boots
(in an XL
) though the back ones are pretty short on him and on Cliff, and Joker can wear anything. Fred's feet seem to be best protected with PC or Weaver bell boots because he's got tall feet like Chance.
In general, I like the height of the PC Elites for my big horses, but they do let dirt in especially on the back legs.

Pro Orthopedic ! They are thinner and close contact. The double sling strap design is the best support imo. Beaver Creek Horse Supply has them.

Classic equine bells and crossfits! Crossfits fit the best of any boot IMO.
