Location: CTX | I've been having problems with finding a replacement mattress for our trailer. Right now we have the original in there which is the weird size of being wider at the foot end than at the head end. So I am wondering what others have done, order a trapezoid size, or just go with a queen size? What is your opinion about either.
Thanks!! |

| I have been told that the special sizes are really expensive but I haven't ever priced them personally. If the narrow end is wide enough for a queen that would be the route I'd go, that way your sheets would fit. |

Location: CTX | Thanks, that is what I was afraid of (the huge cost for aspecial size). So I guess I'll be shopping sround for a good queen size. |

Location: East Texas | Get a good queen, but make sure it is not too tall to open any cabinets that may be in the nose of the trailer. On the other hand, I have a friend that just stacked 2 of those 4 inch foam mattress toppers in the nose and called it good. |

| I bought a 6" queen size memory foam mattress to go in ours. Works great and is very comfortable! |

Location: CTX | Thanks for the input ladies, I will be on the lookout for a good 6" one then.
The one in there is 6", and there is not a lot of head clearance left with that one, so I really don't want to go any thicker. |

Location: chasing kids and animals | we have a queen in ours but put it long ways so your head and feet to are window area instead of towards cabinets. It works perfect, give you a little ledge area you can sit on instead of bed if need be. Then just for looks when bed is made we put pillows and stuff towards cabinets. |
