I am sticking with Gunnevera. He is a dark horse, but he seems to know how to run. His connections are not blue blood, but what the heck we need some new blood.
Rain is in the forecast, and an off track also adds into the "throw a dart" mentality for picking.
As always I simply want them all to come home safely. |

| There really haven't been any newsworthy picks that I've seen.
I like McCraken based on name. I like Classic Empire as his sire sired American Pharoah. I like Patch as the feel good story.
This is why I don't bet. I simply watch and then root for the winner to go on the the Triple Crown! lol |

Location: Montana | I read last night that Girvin has a quarter crack and has been out of race training for the past week. They have him shod and supposedly ready, but I think it will probably work against him. |

Location: Ky | OK, what do y'all say now with all the mud? I haven't kept up with much this year. We normally have a big Derby party at Eliis Park but my wife is running the River Run half marathon from Henderson to Evansville in the am and then we have to go to Bowling Green for a wedding tomorrow afternoon.
I'm planning on dropping by Eliis Park while they are running and making a few bets on the Derby but really no clue as to who to bet.
I like the name McCracken since I was born in McCracken County but that's it. I'm about 125 miles west of Louisville and we have had 3 inches of rain since yesterday afternoon and it's raining now. I'm sure Louisville is getting all and more since it follows right up the Ohio River. |

| Yeah, I felt bad for TS. I hope they re-group and re-train and not really punish him. |
