Has anyone tried Espana Silk or Quench Shampoo and Conditioner? How did you like them?

I have a horse that rubs out his tail so I was considering putting his tail in a tail bag. What are your thoughts and advice on tail bags?

Has the horse been on a good deworming schedule? He may be rubbing his tail out tryingto itch his bum.

I make my tail bags out of old T-Shirts or socks. Doesn't help at all in fly season because they can't swat the flies. It also doesn't help much with the tail growing. Just keeps Cockleburrs out if anything.

I use EQ Body Solutions foaming soap and finish with laser sheen or good old fashioned Pepi Spray for conditioner and shine.

LOVE LOVE Quench!!! It really makes their hair soft & shiny plus conditioner kinda feels like a lotion on your hands. It isn't greasy like some I've tried.

I like using tail wraps. The kind you braid in, it gives them extra tail in some cases to swat flies. There are some made out of lycra that I haven't tried, I use the original kind made from fleece that I make myself.

Agree with the other poster to make sure you don't have a worm issue... also could be allergy, or just from being dirty and itchy.

Thanks everyone. He is up to date on his deworming schedule. I keep him as clean as possible but he loves to roll every chance he gets. He's young and a little obnoxious and just loves to rub.
