I am planting my flower garden this weekend and was curious if anyone had any idea or photos of their own gardens they would like to share. Whether it be flowers or just greenery.
I usually plant perinials but last year I planted Annuals so I am completely starting over. I usually plant a lot of greenery with a few pops of color. Last year I planted all color and got our front pasture sprayed with native wild flowers like the indian paintbrush, bluebonnets, etc. I love wildflowers

Anyone have any pictures?

I'm not a flower person, but I did plant some sunflowers and they are growing up quickly! I've also started my tomato, cucumbers, watermelon, and onions, that are also starting to grow quickly

I don't have pictures either, but I have many planters on my deck that I've filled with herbs, succulents, and some hyacinths geraniums, and pansies for early spring color. I'm starting a garden this year for the first time. Still in the process of building it. I had the kids in the classroom start seeds so I have some to plant and some for them to take home. They chose carrots, watermelon, snap peas, sweet peppers, and a few others. i'm doing raised beds and containers in my garden to keep down on maintenance. I have lavender, strawberries, green onions, and a blueberry bush that survived from last year.

These are all wonderful ideas.
I have a few beds around the house that aren't raised but I've always wanted to do a raised flower bed or flower boxes for the windows. I think those would be so pretty with the windows open during spring here in TX

Add a Tomato plant here and there in your flower beds, I like adding a few like the grape and cherry Tomato plants, love just picking off a tomato and just eating it right there while your out watering your plants.

If you have trees try hanging planters.  Petunias, impatians, tomatoes, especially plants that hang down.  You can move them around to get the colors right.

I'm trying to attract butterflys this year and have ordered a sh!tload of perennials.  Milkweed, monarda to name a few.  Growing some dill from seed for the butterflys to lay their eggs on.  I mix in some veggies with the flowers.  Can't wait for it to get warm enough consistently to get going.  I get on kicks...one year I bought a boatload of iris, another year penstemons.  I got a couple of those solar bird fountains and put one in a galvanized tub and filled it with rocks for the birds.  My project this spring is to sink one of the old tractor tires, put a pond liner in it and get another solar fountain for it.  The dogs should love it LOL
