I have the original Crooked Stirrups on all of my saddles. Love them.
Crooked Stirrups make a 'barrel racer' stirrup...and I believe they are around $55 a pair.
Believe it or not, the stirrups are not slippery. It did take me awhile before I was confident enough to make a run in them however. But, no problem. I do not lose my stirrups and I don't use rubber bands or anything with them.

Anyone ever tried the "off set" ones?

I use Nettles and CROOKEDs.
Teskey's has used Nettles on their website. 50 for the 6 ply and 45 for the 4 ply. I got mine used from them.
6 ply have more cushion than the 4 ply but either pair is nice.
