IRunOnFaith - 2017-04-18 5:15 PM 4 way, jacks (at least two for every axle), and a snack bag full of goodies to eat while I wait for a tow after I bend my 4 way.
all good suggestions but

Do you really carry four(4) jacks?

I was being sarcastic lol. I guess I'm terrible at sarcasm on the forums.

I only carry one jack, but I do carry multiple jack STANDS lol.

GoMistyGo - 2017-04-19 9:41 AM VERY stupid question on the impact wrench.....  It needs to be plugged in, it doesn't work of battery power, right?
You can get battery powered ones.  I have a dewalt we bought at Home Depot, I actually have two batteries for it, I make sure I charge them both every few weeks when hauling so I know for sure they are charged and I can also charge the battery with my generator is I needed to.

I love the Dewalt battery power tools, they are awesome to have around, I'm always going out to the shop to get hubbys impact wrench to take down boards are to put up boards when the horses break one, they make the job so faster and easier. And they have alot of power to them, hubby uses them out in his shop for heavy work loads.

We actually got a DeWalt also. And this one was a special deal at Home Depot. It came with 2 regular batteries and 1 5-hour battery (hope we never ever have to use it 5hours straight though!!! )  And I have 2 charged in the truck with the wrench and 1 is sitting on the charger.
Hubby was hesitant at getting one since he has one in the garage.... but like i told him.. It's not doing me any good in the garage, so the one we bought lives in the truck!

When I hauled alone I had US Rider. They are excellent! I can and did change my own tires...but if you break down they will really help and handle trailer/truck when AAA often will not.

Now...I bring my husband. He's like having a Nascar pit crew along! He can change a tire so fast it's crazy. And being a diesel mechanic and a farrier...I don't know how I got so lucky. Add to that he is a wonderful man and looks great in wranglers.

Got an extra one of those laying around? I could use one
