Location: North Dakota		I buy stabilized ground from my Hubbard elevator.  (I just recently realized it IS stabilized) which is great my last 50# bag was $32.  ( I feed 5 head of horses and store it in a cool dry place) but even if they don't eat it very fast you can probably afford to throw half of it away if you think it's getting old.  I recently bought whole flax from a health food store-10# was $28.......I have one picky horse that does not like it ground AT ALL.  I love the benefits of flax, but when things are HARD or EXPENSIVE i usually stop doing it.
