Starting to treat today but do you stop all your supplement while treating? Right now my horse gets Forco in the morning and THE at night. Do you give Vitamin E while your treating or after the 30 days?

For those that are dosing wth vitamin E, what brand are you using and is it liquid or powder?

I use Elevate.  I used the liquid during treatment and switched to the powder for daily maintenance.

Use the natural form. It is easier for them to digest.SU-PER E Natural. I found it was the best priced natural vitamin e out there. When I thought Audie had wobblers, I started him on this right away because of how they say it helps nerves etc.https://www.kvsupply.com/item/su-per-e-natural-supplement-1-lb/E018702/

Thanks for sharing!! What about NSync that MVP makes? I've heard people using this as well for vitamin E or muscle defficiency? Any thoughts or proof to this? I like the idea of a pellet feed however if it's just a waste of my $$ I won't bother

Definitely be sure to give the Natural Vitamin E, you’ll have a better chance for a great outcome. It’s an important component to a good outcome.

After researching Vitamin E supplementation when dealing with EPM, I found that water-soluble vitamin E has been found to be the most effective and rapidly increases vitamin E levels. Which, when dealing with EPM you need something that is the most absorbed, quickest, and cost effective out there.

I used Nano-E, it's a water-soluble natural vitamin E.

In-Sync is a great choice, as it has 2,000 IUs of Natural Vitamin E. What most don't know is the body cannot store synthetic vitamin E. When a horse is fed Natural E, the body can store it longer and therefore able to utilize it. Sometimes people shy away from Natural E because it says x,xxx IUs but they hear their vet say their horse needs 10,000 IUs. Anytime you can feed a natural form over a synthetic you are ahead.

MVP also has a new product coming out, E-ClipsePM. This will be rolling out in the next couple of weeks! http://www.unitedvetequine.com/horse-supplements/EclipsePM.asp

E-ClipsePM supports: Healthy immune response function, healthy brain and nervous system function, and liver function. It also promotes a healthy level of beneficial gut bacteria to support a balanced gut related immune response. Healthy Gut = Immune Response.

It contains Cinchona, which is known to have anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, and anti-protozoa effects. It's antipyretic and antimicrobial, which means it not only treats the symptoms of infection, fever, etc but it also combats the microorganism itself.

Please PM me if you have any questions or if you are interested in trying.
