AT & T now has an unlimited data plan that allows you to plug your phone into your tv and watch Direct TV. Has anybody done this in their living quarters?

I believe they have a "cap" which means after a certain amount of GB the speeds slow

Yes. It's not truly unlimited. I hit the data limit in about three days and had to suffer through 3G for the rest of the month. I couldn't even watch YouTube with full bars. It was brutal.

Next time that happens, lower the resolution on YouTube settings and you can watch at slower speeds.

We have it and we love it. We also had Direct TV too. We got rid of it and now have Direct now.  We watch tv on the iPad or use the cord and plug into the tv and watch it on the big screen. We have the cord too for our horse trailer. That is why we originally went that way.

We have never had a problem with the picture or the shows being off or slow.

Not to steal the thread, but I'm a technology dummy. So I have a ton of data through Verizon... I also have Netflix. Can I hook my phone up to the tv in my trailer to watch Netflix?! If so what cord would I need?? That seems better than having dish network in my trailer since all we watch is the Netflix.

yes you can. There is an "aux" cord that plugs into your headphone jack I believe that plugs directly into the TV. We've done it before

It is an HDMI cord. You can get them in different lengths too. Walmart sans staples etc has them.
