Looking at a daughter of Brimmerton out of a daughter of Mr. Eye Opener.  Opinions?

I have a Brimmerton daughter in on consignment right now, out of a Bully Bullion daughter, and I LOVE HER!!! She's a little quirky--not sure how much of that is from being on the track--but I'd own her in a heartbeat if I could. And I'm NOT a mare person.
She is very sweet, has a ton of try (and no quit) and is scary fast. She can't take much drilling though, and luckily doesn't need it. She is a mall walker, and a bit of a hard keeper.

Brimmerton not that popular as a stud?

I could be wrong, but I think his get are still young. The ones I've seen are 3 and 4. Mine is 6 and is the oldest one I've come across--though I've not looked real hard. Mine was at the track, then went through the sale, so no real chance at being molded for futurity stuff.

He had a few that were fairly successful on the track in his first couple seasons. I haven't heard about as many being successful in barrel racing. He has been standing for 12 seasons though, 10 which are of race age (at least 2). Check out his track produce record here: https://stallionesearch.com/501/Brimmerton.html

I had a gelding by Brimmerton and out of Ali Cartel who was by Corona Cartel. He was a fantastic horse that anyone could ride. He was blown up on the pattern before I bought him, and would get frazzled if I asked too much of him. He was off the track and the sucker could run. I would absolutely own another if given the chance. Also was an extremely easy keeper.

I tried to bred to him this year! Mare was pretty obese and it was late in the season. I'm trying him again next year!
