| I am sure there are quite a few of us on here that drive the 2015+ dodge Diesels. THis is my first summer with my 2016 ( Have had 5.9s from 1994-2007 prior) and I am amazed at how much warmer these 6.7s with EGR and emissions junk run!!! LOL Its been really hot here past few weeks, usually 105-110 daily and its nothing for these trucks to run 210-220 degrees pulling and 205-210 empty depending on humidity!!! I know its normal but its weird to look at!!! I wish I just had the gauge with needle and not the real temp!! LOL |

Location: Not Where I Want to Be | turn off your dash display.
It will tell you if it runs hot.

That is always an option! Lol. I like to keep an eye on things. I always look at my tire pressures to. Just for fun. |

| My 2008 Duramax runs about 210* when loaded and was pushing 230 when we were headed to Lincoln doing 75mph on a 90* day - that's when we really noticed it, but 210-220 seems norml now that we watch it more closely. That's based on the gauge not a digital read. |

My 2016 has a 200' thermostat in it. lol THey are designed to run hot so burn off all the emissions junk. lol Its just hard to look at sometimes. |

Location: Texas | Completely normal.. My truck normally runs around 200*. You shouldn't have anything to worry about unless you start creeping past 220*. |

LOL Actually from the research I have done here this week, its totally normal to hit almost 240! But yea, I guess 230-235 pulling heavy is no biggie either. |

Yeah, my 3/4ton almost had a fit when I bought it because my neighbor never really drove it - when I drove it on the highway the first couple times and got it hot it must have burned off a lot of junk, threw a check engine light and emissions codes, limp mode the whole 9. Neighbor was lucky I was able to get to one of my mechanics before I called him and gave him an earful!
I guess I've never had one that didn't run in that 190-220 range depending on the outside conditions to not feel like it was normal. |

Location: nj | Ok I have a question - my 2016 dodge diesel 2500 has been low on transmission fluid for the 2nd time (two quarts the last time. No leaks the dealership can find.. anyone had a similar situation? They told me if it happens again they will call chrysler to discuss. |
