Opinions on smartcalm ultra pellets? Or any other recommendations? I have a 7 yr old mare that is a sweet heart of a horse and a very good horse but at 3 day shows she just gets too stressed. She barely eats her hay takes her hours to finish her grain and doesn't drink as much as I'd like her too even with electrolytes. And on top of all of that of course she doesn't run as well as she does at local shows. Looking for a supplement to fix this and was leaning into buying smart calm ultra but wanted some opinions or any other ideas that could help my horse.

I dont know much about the Smartpak Ultra pellets but I have had some luck with Cellarator Turbo Paste. The paste works well if you just want to give it at shows and there is also a feed through supplement if its something you want to give continuously.

I have had good luck with Kool Blue Ultra. You can feed it regularly or 3 days prior to a show. Several online tack stores carry it.

I have used the Equine Matrix ECP with great success. It helps with focus without making the horse in a tranquilized state. I use it on my stud. It allows him to focus on me even in the midst of breeding season. Many of the top dressage olympic horses are on this as well. It is all organic mushroom blends and made in San Diego. I know the owner / founder of the company and he has really strived to put out a great product.

I had no luck with it.  I've come to the conclusion that its just his personality, he doesn't travel well. I make sure he has plenty of ForeFront paste to help his stomach and to help him drink more. Its frustrating, wish it had worked.

I have been using it for about two months and have seen a huge improvement. My mare was never hot but over reacted to things. She just seems happier and relaxed. Saw minor changes at two weeks, big improvement at a month, and a huge difference now. Pm me if you have more questions.

I used them on a very spooky gelding and it helped alot. Def much calmer and less reactive on them. Took about 4 weeks or so to see a real difference.

I haven't used the SmartCalm Ultra pellets but I've used the SmartGut Ultra pellets and it made a huge difference in my daughter's gelding.   Seems like a very good product.

I use In The Zone by Animal Element. It stimulates appetite, increases amount of fluid intake and helps to soothe the stomach. All natural, doesn't test, doesn't take the run away but helps relieve stress. I am a dealer and seriously believe in their products.

I've used SmartCalm Ultra on 2 horses and had impressive results on both.  I suspect one was Mg deficient and it helped with that too. His muscles are much more relaxed and flexible now.
